PALM SWINGS is Directed and Produced by Sean Hoessli, a graduate of the American Film Institute. Writer Amanda Lockhart, Cinematographer Kristin Fieldhouse, and Production Designer Rachel Lee Payne-Darrow are also all graduates of AFI.
Shot entirely in Palm Springs and around the Coachella Valley with the assistance of Locations 760, PALM SWINGS features numerous local locations including the Skylark Hotel, TRIO Restaurant, Purple Room, SHAG Art Gallery, Mitchells, Chase Hotel, Anahata Springs Spa and Retreat, College of the Desert, and several mid-century modern homes. PALM SWINGS is a heart-felt and sensual love story examining universal themes that all couples face – trust, commitment, infidelity, forgiveness, and sexual desires. The movie embraces the cool and hip, mid-century modern retro style of the famous, desert oasis town. PALM SWINGS features original music by local Coachella DJ Alf Alpha, and artwork by internationally famous SHAG.
Code Blue Production’s next movie HEARTWORK, a comedy about a hospice nurse, is currently in pre-production in Palm Springs. The movie is written, produced, and directed by Lindie Kuzmich & Sean Hoessli.
