The Alliance is helping to facilitate a request for casting:
The Producers of Diane from the Moon are casting several roles for a film shoot mid-December. There is pay and non-pay.
Casting will take place in Palm Springs on November 19th and 20th. Most of the roles are background roles and they are looking to cast actors for credit (non-pay).
Background Roles for Film Credit Only (non-pay) Experience is not required but helpful:Â
1 to 2 women to be an in a loving lesbian couple by the pool. (Nothing sexually overt-these characters are to demonstrate love and compassion)
3-5 people to be in the background of a bar at Hunters. We’re looking for a diverse group, young and middle aged, couples etc.
1 woman (25-35) to be at the pool during the same scene as the Lesbian couple.
Minor Speaking Roles (PAID) Experienced preferred:
Jennifer –Â is a young early 20’s, rocker chick. Despite her “hard” look with denim jackets and black band t-shirts, she is a sweet girl who has real relationships with the customers who come into the liquor store she works at.
Alice – Mid 30’s to mid 40’s. Open ethnicity, hippie styled woman. Her physical characteristics, her smile, eyes, and movements mimic the loving and caring nature of her soul.
