FilmPalmSprings connects local talent with professional film, television, commercial, and media productions working in the Greater Palm Springs region.

These guidelines exist to protect the productions we work with and to maintain a professional reputation for the local talent community.

By submitting to casting calls distributed through FilmPalmSprings or FilmPalmSprings.com, you acknowledge and agree to the following guidelines.

On Set Conduct

Talent are expected to behave professionally and follow the direction of the production team at all times while on set.

This includes respecting the production schedule, following instructions from crew members, and maintaining a professional working environment for everyone involved.

Productions trust our local casting network to provide reliable and respectful participants. Maintaining that trust is essential for continuing to bring opportunities to the region.

Personal Recording on Set

Personal recording during filming is not allowed unless specifically approved by the production.

This includes phone photos, phone video, livestreaming, behind the scenes footage, recording crew members or equipment, and recording scenes being filmed.

Many productions operate under confidentiality requirements. Unauthorized recording may violate production policies, brand agreements, or network contracts.

Talent should assume that recording on set is not permitted unless clearly authorized.

Unauthorized recording may result in removal from the production and may affect consideration for future casting opportunities through this office.

Social Media and Public Posting

Talent are welcome to share their experience once the project has been publicly released or aired.

When posting about a project, please represent your role accurately and respectfully.

If you choose to post about the project, acknowledging the casting source is appreciated. A simple mention such as Cast through FilmPalmSprings.com helps support the local film community that connects talent with these opportunities.

Please avoid posting filming locations, production schedules, or behind the scenes details that were not publicly released by the production.

When sharing a project on social media, talent should represent their role accurately and avoid implying involvement beyond their assigned role in the production.

Representation of Production Roles

Talent participating through casting calls should represent their involvement accurately.

Unless formally hired by the production company in another capacity, talent should not publicly describe themselves as producers, members of the production team, or production staff.

Misrepresenting involvement can create confusion for productions and the public.

Professional Courtesy

Film and television productions operate on tight schedules and rely on professionalism from everyone involved.

Talent are expected to arrive on time, follow wardrobe and preparation instructions, respect crew direction, and maintain a positive working environment.

Productions that have positive experiences with local talent are more likely to return to the region.

Participation in the Casting Database

Participation in the FilmPalmSprings casting network is voluntary.

Talent who disregard on set rules, violate production policies, or behave unprofessionally may be removed from current opportunities and may be excluded from future casting calls distributed through this office.
