Scholarships for Aspiring Filmmakers & Creatives

As a proud board member of Palm Springs Women in Film & Television (PSWIFT) for the past four years, I’ve seen firsthand how this incredible organization supports both men and women in our community who are pursuing careers in film, television, and media.

Each year, PSWIFT awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to talented students right here in the Coachella Valley—helping the next generation of filmmakers, writers, and storytellers bring their creative dreams to life.

If you’re a high school senior or college student with a passion for film, acting, writing, or media, I encourage you to apply today! These scholarships are designed to support both emerging and experienced students who are committed to building a career in the entertainment industry.

Available Scholarships:

• Patti Gribow Student Scholarship – For high school seniors in the Coachella Valley pursuing film, theater, writing, or entertainment. Selections are based on talent, academic excellence, and financial need.

• Post-Secondary Filmmakers Scholarship – For college students or post-secondary learners from the Coachella Valley enrolled in a film or media-related program. This scholarship helps future filmmakers and media professionals take their next big step.

These scholarships are funded by PSWIFT’s commitment to the creative future of our community, and I’m honored to be a part of the selection process.
