“Perfect”
A Palm Springs Women in Film & Television (PSWIFT) Local Production

“Perfect” is a short, quirky comedy about Sasha, a woman who believes she has found her perfect match in Crux, an impossibly handsome server at a cafĂ©. After using an AI app to manifest her dream partner, she becomes convinced that Crux fits the description perfectly. As Sasha’s friend Ramona watches with skepticism, the situation takes an unexpected twist when Crux turns out to be more than just a regular server. This light-hearted film explores the humorous side of love, technology, and expectations.
This locally produced short film embodies PSWIFT’s mission by showcasing local talent and celebrating the vibrancy of our community.
Casting Details
Seeking Background Extras:
  • Scene: Restaurant Scene
  • Dates: January 27th and January 28th, 2025
  • Location: Palm Desert, CA
  • Requirements:
    • 8-10 Background Extras
    • Male or Female, any ethnicity, non-union
    • Casual attire (please no logos or loud prints)
  • Compensation: Credit and meals provided (no pay)
  • Notes: No speaking lines required
