A Permit Specialist will help you understand the permit process for Desert Hot Sprigns and other local desert cities, including the unincorporated towns, tribal, state and federal lands located within the greater Palm Springs region.

Also known as DHS, is a city in the greater Palm Springs region (or the Coachella Valley). The city has undergone rapid development and high population growth since the 1970s, when there were 2,700 residents.
Processing Time:Â 1-3 days
Motion Pictures/Film Application Fee: $150 plus $40/day
Still photography Application Fee: $ 75 plus $15/day
Business License Fee: None
Police Department:Â Case-by-case basis –Â $71/hour with an 8-hour minimum
Fire Department: Case-by-case basis – Fees vary depending upon services required
Roads Department: Case-by-case basis – Fees vary depending upon services required
